Cimpress (Parent of Vistaprint), Full-Time
Designed new document composition engine that reduces time to market from seven days to thirty minutes. Time savings has lead to increased quality of dynamic renders and new capabilities that are used across the organization. In addition to quality increases and time savings, the engine has been leveraged to increase conversion rate and overall order value.
As Content Manager I have been entrusted with the stable release of content into the production environment. To reduce inefficiencies in the mostly manual process I designed C#/.net tools that fully automate content migration to production releasing developers from manually shepherding content thereby reducing cost through efficiency.
Other responsibilities include ownership of document rendering, ownership and maintenance of design and content management tools, front end ASP .Net development, and Project Architect.

Auspice Corporation, Full-Time
Working as a paid intern while still attending Northeastern University, I designed and developed a Java package using standard design patterns that coupled the Auspice TLX platform with multi-session multi-service instant messaging (e.g. AIM, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Jabber). I also created test automation scripts for use in product testing on Linux, Solaris, and Windows platforms.
After graduation I was offered a permanent position as a software engineer where I developed a PHP graphical data entry front end that managed a MySql database of cable modems for one of the top cable companies in the nation.
June 2003 — December 2003
Northrop Grumman Corporation, Full-Time Paid Intern
At Northrup Grumman I designed and developed an internal manufacturing system that streamlined and digitized a paper traveler based tracking system. It automated the tracking of efficiency matrices, hardware rollback, prototyping, review used, as well as being used in ISO 9001 auditing. My other duties entailed calibration, heat, and scale factor testing of fiber optic gyros and components.
